More than 95% of A/L physics question is based on past patterns/ideas. What they just do is mix up some ideas or patterns with other patterns or ideas and make a new question. So if you know well about the patterns and ideas, you will well understand how they have made the question and how to get the answer.

When you do the question repeatedly, another skill you develop is to think certain questions very easily. This skill lets you to find out many shortcuts of physics. When you find shortcuts you can save time in exam papers, especially in MCQs. When ypu do many MCQs you can automatically do essay questions. So start with MCQs.

Keep all the MODEL PAPERS AWAY UNTIL YOU CAN SHINE IN PAST PAPER!

And another tip is, STUDY MORE PHYSICS at the beginning compare to other subject. i.e spend more time in physics! Because you don't forget physics so easily!
You can reduce the time you spend for physics when the exam is near and use that time for Biology to memorize everything!
If you spend more time on Biology at the beginning, then you are going to forget everything what you studied in Biology very soon and you are going to get fed up.

This is what I meant in a graph.

These are some experience from my journey to 3A's in A/L!
