Does "evening nap" leads to memory loss?

Hello sir! I am a night owl. I usually get a nap for 1 hour in evening,then only I can have an afaffective study at night.But I heard my ph6 teacher told that nap in day time is a reason to memory lost. Is it true?

Hello ishak,

"For more than a century it has been known that memory benefits from sleep". This is from a research article.

Having a nap in the afternoon will not impair your memory. It might even be beneficial if you nap after studying for a couple of hours.
